Have you ever seen the lush, green leaves of tea bushes in early summer? The flowers of this remarkable plant are small and charming. Known scientifically as Camellia sinensis, tea plants are cousins to the colorful camellia. However, a tea blossom is more modest than its showier relative; its white petals encircle delicate golden stamens at the center. In this simplicity lies its true perfection!
Inspired by its understated beauty, I created a new linoleum block print to honor the tea blossom. Enjoy!
