Heidelberg Cylinder Letterpress KS

The Arts & Crafts Press

Heidelberg KS: 15 x 22.5”, 1960 Cylinder Letterpress (never been used for die cutting, with all the inking mechanism intact). This was the primary press for the fine press printer, Regis Graden, of Nut Quad Press in Los Angeles before we used it for our greeting card production. (His work is archived at Special Collections at San Diego State University: https://scua2.sdsu.edu/archon/?p=collections/findingaid&id=441&q=&rootcontentid=134143)

You will need 3-phase power or a rotary phase converter. Well-oiled and cared for, but it has some issue with mechanical noise in the delivery bed that needs to be taken care of. Otherwise it’s a great press and it runs smooth, except for the noise. Because this one needs work, we’re happy to let this one go for $2500. Weights about 7000 lbs.
