Photopolymer Plate Making:

The Arts & Crafts Press

The "newest" innovation in letterpress printing, photopolymer plate is a great alternative to traditional metal engravings. The photo-sensitive polymer material hardens under the UV light and allows you to create a printing block from a handcut stencil or a digital file (whether a graphic image or typography). In this workshop you'll learn how to hand-cut a stencil or prepare digital files for production, and use our photopolymer plate maker to make your own printing plates. Two Saturday afternoon classes. May 30th & June 13th: 1 - 4 pm
