All the note cards from The Arts & Crafts Press are
letterpress
printed using both mould-made and machine-made papers. Each card
is printed on acid-free paper and comes with a matching envelope.
Some of the designs are adapted from or inspired by the
turn-of-the-last-century Arts and Crafts movement. Most of
the designs are originally created by The Arts & Crafts Press.
Letterpress printing the cards allows us to have the heavy
impression we can achieve on the presses as part of the design, thus
creating a three-dimensional quality to the surface. Often we use
hand cut woodblocks or linoleum blocks to print these cards from.
